Class One

In Class One there are Reception children and Year 1 children. Our teacher is Mrs Hughes. Our morning assistant is Mrs Barrett and our afternoon assistant is Mrs Bridges. The ‘Foundation Stage’ classroom was remodelled not so long ago so now we have a great outdoor play area all to ourselves. In our classroom there are different areas like our writing corner, a junk modelling area and a play dough area.

Class Two

In Class Two there are all the Year 2 children and some Year 1 children. Mrs Lister teaches us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Miss Smythe teaches us on the remaining two days. We work very hard in Class Two. We play lots of number games on our Smartboard, especially Countdown. One of the classroom doors leads outside to a garden where we have planted some plants.

Class Three

In Class Three there are all the Year 3 children and some Year 4 children. We do lots of art activities in our class. We've even taken plaster casts of our faces once! We enjoy reading poetry books. Our favourite book is 'Please Mrs Butler.' We think that we are like one big happy family here in Class 3. Our teacher, Mrs Hirst, is very kind and caring. She looks after us all really well. Some of the children in our class make their First Holy Communion. Mrs Hirst helps them prepare for this special day.

Class Four

In Class Four there are Year 4 and Year 5 pupils. We enjoy doing our work whilst listening to music, it helps us concentrate. Our teacher, Mr Elam, has also set up a music listening station for us where we can go to listen to music. We're even allowed to draw pictures to go with the music that we're listening to. We really enjoy the brain teasers that our teacher gives us. We try for ages sometimes trying to work out the answer. We're very lucky to have Mrs Woodhouse in our class, she helps us with our work and as you can see from the photograph with our cooking too!

Class Five

In Class Five there are Year 6 pupils. Our teacher is Miss Curtin. She is great at teaching PE at helps us all to keep really fit. She also runs our sports teams, like football, netball and cross-country. Whilst Miss Curtin has been helping us, we have won lots of trophies! Class 5 is a hardworking, dedicated place of work, where children combine their skills, acquired throughout the school in preparation for the end of Key Stage 2 tests. Children are motivated and challenged to achieve and sustain their targets. Pupils also enjoy a range of learning experiences, such as the year drama production, trip to London, and other activities which ensure the he child as a whole is developed.
